About this painting
"If eyes are the windows to the soul, then wrinkles are the etchings of life." This painting aims to convey the beauty of wrinkles by highlighting that they reveal one's life story. Each wrinkle tells a tale of love, laughter, pain, or hardship and should not be erased. The man's intense gaze invites the viewer to speculate on the kind of life he has lived and what he might be thinking. The warm to cool gradient colours represent the happier, more vibrant moments, as well as the darker, more challenging times.
